VibroEncode Terms of Use

Effective 26 October 2026. Last updated 26 October 2026.

These terms apply when you install or use VibroEncode (“the app”), made by VibroSomatics (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the app is

VibroEncode is a creative audio tool. It lets you combine your own audio with tones and a hidden control signal (formats called AudioStrobe, SpectraStrobe and Lumasonic) that compatible light devices or apps can read, and export the result. It runs on your device.

2. Safety, health and no medical advice

Flashing light can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy, including people with no prior diagnosis. Do not use the app, its previews, or any light it drives if you or a family member has a history of seizures, epilepsy, migraines or light sensitivity, unless a doctor has said it is safe. Stop at once if you feel unwell.

The app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker or other implanted device, are pregnant, or have any health condition, talk to a health professional before using sound- or light-based sessions. You use the app, and any hardware you connect to it, at your own risk. The app is for adults.

Take care with volume. Exported files can contain high-frequency tones. Keep playback at a comfortable level, especially with headphones.

3. Pro purchase

Some features (the SpectraStrobe and Lumasonic formats, exporting, files longer than 5 minutes, and Test Hardware) require a one-time “Pro” purchase through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The price is shown by the store. Payment, refunds and receipts are handled by the store under its own terms and policies. A purchase belongs to the store account that made it and can be restored on that account with “Restore purchase”. We may change which features are free or Pro in future versions; features you have already bought will not be taken away.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to your audio and projects. You are responsible for having the right to use any audio you import and export. Do not use the app to infringe anyone’s copyright. We never receive your files, so we cannot access, review or remove them.

5. Our rights

The app, its design and its code belong to us or our licensors. You may use it for personal or professional audio work. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows.

6. Third-party names

AudioStrobe, SpectraStrobe, Lumasonic and other product or format names may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. VibroEncode is not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless stated.

7. Hardware and other software

If you connect lights or other devices, follow their manufacturers’ instructions and safety notes. We are not responsible for how third-party hardware behaves.

8. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will work with every device, light or player.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data or files, or injury or harm resulting from use of the app or any device it drives. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights you have where you live.

10. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. The current terms are always at this address. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app, and will try to give notice where we reasonably can.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
